Objectives
The QADOC Project aims to improve the quality assurance and excellence of doctoral research in Africa through a collaborative and interregional approach. To achieve this, we rely on five srategic objectives:
Develop common standards
Develop shared evaluation frameworks for doctoral training and research in Africa, to harmonize quality criteria.
Strengthen institutional capacities
Support national quality assurance agencies and ministries to enable them to adopt and integrate these standards into their national systems.
Improve the evaluation of doctoral research and training
Provide universities with the necessary tools and skills to evaluate the quality of doctoral research and training in accordance with national, regional, and international standards.
Optimize training and research management
Improve doctoral training to ensure better quality, management, and impact of research results.
Strengthen Africa-Europe Cooperation
Encourage academic collaborations between Africa and Europe, by promoting common standards for the quality assurance and evaluation of doctoral research.
